Ninth Annual Love and Harmony Cruise: Reggae At Sea

A Voyage of Music and Meaning

The Ninth annual Love and Harmony cruise, the highly anticipated Easter voyage of 2026, proved once again why it’s among the most beloved musical experiences on water. Sailing through the Caribbean, fans from across the globe joined legends of reggae and dancehall for five unforgettable days of music, laughter, and soul-stirring connection.

Beres Hammond commanded Saturday’s electrifying All White Night concert, backed by the Harmony House band. From Rockaway to No Disturb Sign, the veteran singer delivered his timeless catalogue with warmth and precision. When he joked, “Sometimes I wonder if I am getting too old for this,” fans shouted back a resounding “No!”, affirming their devotion to the reggae icon.

Star Power and Standout Performances

Hammond’s brief duet with his grandson Kingston Pauyo drew thunderous applause, while British reggae star Maxi Priest opened strong with Set the Night to Music, then dazzled with Wild World and Close to You. In addition, his interactive “Work it” segment brought a burst of energy to the deck.

Dancehall Night raised the tempo even higher with powerhouse performances from Tanya Stephens, Agent Sasco, and Busy Signal. Sasco marked his 25th year in music with spirited renditions of Winning Right Now and Fade Away alongside Romain Virgo. Moreover, Busy balanced grit and grace through Smoke Weed, Bedroom Bully, and Gal Yuh Good.

Next-Generation Reggae and Nostalgia

Romain Virgo, known as reggae’s “Love Doctor,” enchanted the crowd with Mi Caan Sleep and Leave People Business Alone, earning praise as one of reggae’s brightest young stars. Veteran performer Pinchers transported cruisers back with ’80s and ’90s hits like Bandelero and Champion Bubbler. Even fierce ocean winds challenged him mid-performance.

Passengers described the voyage as a “floating festival of love.” Marsha Blake from Atlanta called it “a reunion of friends who love reggae and each other.” First-time cruiser David Ellis from Toronto agreed: “It’s five days inside a concert bubble — the best vacation ever.”

Gospel at Sea and Island Flavors

Beyond music, the Love and Harmony Easter cruise 2026 offered spiritual inspiration. Minister Marion Hall (formerly Lady Saw) led an emotional Easter Sunday sermon and gospel concert alongside Dr. Carlene Davis-Cowan. The event ended with live baptisms — a first for the event.

Cruisers also enjoyed rich Jamaican flavors prepared by celebrity Chef Basil Jones — from oxtail and jerk chicken to mannish water and ackee and saltfish. Laughter filled the nights with comedy sets from Trixx and Fancy Cat, ensuring joy flowed both on and off stage.

Harmony, Heritage, and Hope

More than music, the Ninth annual Love and Harmony cruise embodied community, cultural pride, and connection. As the ship docked after five days of rhythm and revival, guests departed with hearts full of memories. Immediately, they were already counting down to the 2027 voyage.
